Kazakh Qazaq Banki increased its authorized stock capital from 5 billion 466.087 million tenge (182.14 tenge = $1) to 11 billion 066.087 million tenge

Kazakh Qazaq Banki increased its authorized stock capital from 5 billion 466.087 million tenge (182.14 tenge = $1) to 11 billion 066.087 million tenge, the bank reported on May 11.

Increase in authorized stock capital resulted from the placement of bank's 5.6 million equities among its shareholders who have the pre-emption right and among unlimited number of investors.

The Bank's equity capital increased from 6.2 billion to 11.7 billion tenge as a result.

"With the support of shareholders the bank plans to expand its active banking operations, increase the loan portfolio and develop its activity in the country's regions," Qazaq Banki's Chairwoman of the Board Bikesh Zhumasheva said.

Qazaq Banki was created on the basis of Bank Senim.

The Bank's assets amounted to 74.7 billion tenge, liabilities - 63 billion tenge, net profit - 64.2 million tenge as of May 1, 2014. The bank has branches in the cities of Astana, Almaty, Shymkent, Aktobe, Karaganda, Taraz, and Kaskelen.
