Iraq's Electricity Ministry has invited Azerbaijani entrepreneurs to take part in a number of tenders held in the country, according to a message from the Azerbaijan Export & Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO).
The tenders are for the supply of spare parts for gas turbines of the Shuaiba power plant, steel pylons of the power transmission lines, measuring equipment for the Qurna power plant and other projects.
"Azerbaijani entrepreneurs are invited to participate in the tenders," according to the message.
Detailed information can be obtained at the Iraqi Embassy in Azerbaijan.
The trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Iraq stood at $94.84 million in January-April 2014, according to Azerbaijan's State Customs Committee.
Nearly all of this amount - $94.77 million accounted for the exports to Iraq.
Iraqi products imports to Azerbaijan amounted to $70,080.
