Iran is currently constructing several fuel storage facilities across the country.

Seyyed Naser Sajjadi, the managing director of National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company, said on Aug.19 that the facilities have the capacity to store 700-800 million liters of fuel, Iran's IRNA News Agency reported on Aug. 19.

"The construction operation of these facilities will be finished by the end of the current Iranian calendar year (March 20, 2015)," he said. He further invited the private sector to invest in the oil projects.

"We need to facilitate the process for the private sector to invest money in oil projects," he added.

Sajjadi has been appointed as the managing director of National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company, replacing Mostafa Kashkouli.
