The second meeting of the Azerbaijani-Georgian working group of the Eastern Partnership Territorial Cooperation Programme (EaPTC) will be held in Ganja in September, EaPTC told Trend Aug. 23.

The first meeting of the group was held in Telavi last year.

"The participants have preliminary agreed priorities of territorial cooperation between Azerbaijan and Georgia," reported EaPTC.

The project will involve entrepreneurs, authorities and public organizations from the border regions of both countries. Sheki-Zagatala and Ganja-Gazakh economic areas will represent the Azerbaijani side in the territorial cooperation program. The Georgian side of the program includes the regions of Kvemo Kartli and Kakheti. According to preliminary estimates, the amount of grants will vary from 20 to 250,000 euros.

The project will cost 12.5 million euros. Some 1.35 million euros from these funds are allocated for the territorial program between Azerbaijan and Georgia. The program will be governed by GIZ - German Society for International Cooperation. The program covers the period until the end of 2016.
