Kazakhstan ups gasoline production

Kazakhstan increased motor fuel production by 13.7 percent in Jan.- Sept. 2014 compared to the same period of 2013, the Statistics Committee under Kazakh National Economy Ministry said.

Gasoline including jet fuel production hit 2.245 million metric tons in the reporting period.

Oil production decreased by 2 percent to 50.478 million metric tons, while condensate increased by 5.3 percent to 9.493 million metric tons in this period.

Also during the reporting period, Kazakhstan produced 31,524 billion cubic meters of natural gas (an increase of 1.9 percent). Of this volume, natural gas in the gaseous state amounted to 15,609 billion cubic meters (an increase of 4.4 percent), oil associated gas - 15,915 billion cubic meters (at the level of the previous year).
