Tbilisi, Georgia, Nov.27

The European Free Trade Association (EFTA) expressed readiness to start negotiations with Georgia on signing a free trade agreement.
The organization said on Nov.27 that the decision was made during the ministerial meeting of EFTA held in Geneva in November.
"This issue was for the first time raised at the first meeting of the joint committee on cooperation between Georgia and EFTA held two months ago," the association said.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the bilateral trade and economic relations and promising areas of cooperation, said EFTA.
