KazMunaiGas - Processing and Marketing JSC, a subsidiary of the Kazakhstan-based oil and gas giant KazMunaiGas has named its new managing director.
Serik Baiseksenov took up the post, according to the company's press service.
Born in 1960, Baiseksenov is a graduate of the Gubkin Moscow Institute of Petrochemical and Gas Industry.
He boasts more than 30 years of extensive experience in oil and gas sector.
Throughout his career Baiseksenov worked for Uralsk Munai Onimderi OJSC, Kazakhoil Products LLP, KazMunaiGas JSC, CASPI BITUM LLP and Kazakhstan Petrochemical Industries JSC.
In 2013-2014, he worked as first deputy general director, chief engineer of CASPI BITUM LLP, first deputy chairman of the Board of Kazakhstan Petrochemical Industries JSC.
The KazMunaiGas - Processing and Marketing JSC is a 100-percent subsidiary of the Kazakh national company KazMunaiGas.
The company owns shares in the Atyrau Oil Refinery LLP (99.53 percent), PetroKazakhstan Oil Products LLP (49.7 percent), Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant LLP (100 percent), KazMunaiGas Onіmderі LLP (100 percent), Caspi Bitum JV (50 percent), and others.
The main activities of the KazMunaiGas - Processing and Marketing JSC include management of oil refining assets, export of oil and oil products, and the development of retail sales of petroleum products.
