Georgia's foreign trade turnover (excluding the unorganized trade) stood at $10.358 billion in Jan.-Nov. 2014, which is 7 percent more than in the same period of 2013, Georgian National Statistics Office (GeoStat) told Trend on Dec.24.
The export from Georgia totaled $2.628 billion (an increase by 0.5 percent), while the import to this country equaled $7.730 billion (an increase by 9 percent) during the reporting period.
The negative trade balance amounted to $5.102 billion, or 49 percent of the total volume of foreign trade turnover.
