Drilling contractor SOCAR AQS plans to complete drilling operations on the gas offshore field Bulla Deniz for the company SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) during the month, a source in the company SOCAR told Trend March 2.
The source said that drilling work on the platform Bulla-6 is currently underway within the framework of the new project.
Drilling at the site is scheduled for completion by early April.
It was earlier reported that SOCAR plans to complete the construction and installation work at the new platform No.6 on the Bulla Deniz field in the Caspian Sea's Azerbaijani sector by late May.
The daily debit of four wells on the platform No.6 will reach 2 million cubic meters of gas and 600 metric tons of condensate.
The reserves of the new block, which gave good results, are estimated at 10 billion cubic meters of gas.
