Tashkent car maintenance unitary enterprise (Toshavtotamirxizmat) in Uzbekistan has announced an international tender.
The tender is for purchasing tires and spare parts for the enterprises of the Tashkent City Transport Service JSC (Toshshahartransxizmat).
It is planned to purchase 9,690 tries (size: 275/70 R 22.5) for the Mercedes-Benz Conecto Low Floor buses, 10,512 tires (size: 7.50 R 16) for ISUZU SAZ NP-37 buses and 112 tires (size: 10.00 R 20) for HYUNDAI cars.
The total maximum cost of this lot is $2.671 million.
In addition, it is planned to buy spare parts for Mercedes-Benz Conecto Low Floor buses, namely the engine system, fuel system, cooling system, suspension, brakes, steering, electrical equipment, automatic gearbox ZF (6HP502) totaling 1.777 million euros within the framework of the tender process.
The deadline for submission of the bids is May 20, 2015.
Under the terms of the tender, the goods supplied under the terms of Incoterms 2010 within 90 days from the date of the advance payment, must comply with the technical requirements of the tender documentation.
The tender documents are delivered for a fee. This fee will not be returned.
It was previously reported that the first Mercedes-Benz Conecto Low Floor buses of Euro-3 standard appeared in Tashkent in 2008.
In 2012, Uzbekistan bought 100 new Mercedes-Benz Conecto Low Floor buses from EvoBus GmbH company (Daimler-Chrysler concern's bus division, Germany) worth $18.9 million through a loan from the Fund for Reconstruction and Development of Uzbekistan, while 100 more buses, as well as spare parts and diagnostic devices worth 14 million euros in 2013.
The purchase was carried out through a loan of the Fund for Reconstruction and Development of Uzbekistan.
