A law entered into force in Turkmenistan defining the legal, economic and organizational bases for the real estate agent activity and regulating the relations arising in its implementation.
Under the law, Turkmen individuals with a realtor's qualification certificate can carry out professional real estate agent activity in the country.
That qualification certificate is issued based on the certification of individuals claiming to carry out professional activities as real estate agent.
