The number of registered transactions on the sale and purchase of housing in Kazakhstan has decreased by 19.8 percent in May 2015 compared to April and stood at 12,342, Statistics Committee of Kazakh Ministry of National Economy said.
This is while the number of transactions on the sale and purchase of housing increased by 7.6 percent in Jan.-May 2015, compared to the same period of 2014.
The largest number of transactions on the sale and purchase of housing in May was recorded in the cities of Astana (1,350) and Almaty (1,047), as well as in the provinces of Karaganda (1,374), East Kazakhstan (1,161), South Kazakhstan (1,075), Almaty (1,041) and Akmola (943).
The smallest number of transactions was recorded in Atyrau (262) and Kyzylorda (324) provinces.
