Azerbaijan has used a single 105 megahertz frequency band for FM-radio broadcasting in the border areas with Iran, a source on the telecommunication market told Trend.
Use of a single frequency band allowed removing obstacles arising in the border area.
Currently, FM-radio broadcasting on this frequency is carried out in Lerik and Astara districts of Azerbaijan. BurcFM, XazarFM, ArazFM, Azad Azerbaijan and other radio channels were transferred to a single frequency band.
