The Azerbaijani metallurgy industry and enterprises produced goods and rendered services in the amount of 197.8 million manat in January-July 2015, the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee's report says.
The production volume of the metallurgy industry increased by 7.8 percent, while the production of finished products increased by 40.7 percent.
Cast-iron production in the country amounted to 283.2 metric tons in January-July 2015, which is 56.4 percent less than in the same period of 2014.
During the reported period, steel pipes were made in the amount of 18 318,6 metric tons, which is 2.8 percent less than in January-July 2014.
The reinforcement production volume amounted to 146,600 metric tons in the country during this period, which is 27.1 percent more than in the same period of 2014.
As of January-June 2015, the volume of export of iron pipes made up 7107,4 metric tons (over $6.2 million), which is 58.5 percent less (in monetary terms - 62.6 percent) compared to the same period of 2014.
