The National Bank of Kazakhstan increases its gross international reserves for the third consecutive month, according to the analytical service Ranking.kz.
"The cumulative growth for June-August amounted to $351 million," said the message.
In August, gross reserves rose by $108 million, in July - by $86 million, in June - by $157 million. The increase for the year (August 2014- 2015) amounted to $1.34 billion.
Total gross international reserves at the end of August amounted to $29 billion.
Significant growth after a two-month drop was recorded at physical gold reserves and amounted to $380 million. At the end of August, they amounted to $7.6 billion, approaching the historical upper limit recorded in January 2015 ($7.9 billion).
