Cyril Muller, the WB Vice-President for Europe and Central Asia, will arrive in Azerbaijan Oct. 22.
Muller's visit will last until Oct. 24, the Baku office of the World Bank told Trend.
"During his visit, Muller will hold several meetings with representatives of the Azerbaijani government, as well as introduce Mercy Tembon, the WB new Regional Director for the South Caucasus," the Baku office said.
This is Muller's first visit as the WB vice president for Europe and Central Asia. He has held this position since July 1, 2015.
He served as the Vice President of External & Corporate Relations from 2011 to 2015.
Earlier, he served as the Director of Banking and Debt Management in the WB Treasury. He was responsible for modernizing the financial products offered to the WB member-states, as well as for rendering the consulting services in the field of public debt management.
Azerbaijan joined the WB in 1992.
