The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) sold $31 million to three domestic banks through the auction Feb. 3, the CBA said Feb. 3.
"CBA put up for sale $ 200 million, but the total demand of banks for foreign currency amounted to only $31 million and it was fully met," the statement said.
There are 37 banks in Azerbaijan.
