Azerbaijani bank’s assets exceed 2B manats

The assets of Azerbaijan's Kapital Bank amounted to 2.3 billion Azerbaijani manats in the first quarter of 2016, said the bank's report on the results of 1Q2016.

In January-March 2016, Kapital Bank attracted loans worth 70.76 million manats from financial institutions.

The bank's assets exceeded 2.33 billion manats, some 1.18 billion of which accounted for granted loans.

Kapital Bank's available funds totaled 248.99 million manats.

The bank's aggregate capital exceeded 291.05 million manats in 1Q2016. The cash flow adequacy ratio of the aggregate capital was 19.7 percent while the Central Bank's requirement is 10 percent.

Kapital Bank is included in PASHA group of companies - a large investment holding company in Azerbaijan. It is widely represented in such sectors as insurance, construction, construction materials, tourism and others.
