The tariffs for cargo transportation in Azerbaijan's transport sector increased by 39.8 percent in January-April 2016 compared to the same period of 2015, said the report of the country's State Statistics Committee posted on its website May 16.
The tariffs for cargo transportation in Azerbaijan's transport sector decreased by 4.6 percent in April 2016 compared to March.
The tariffs for cargo transportation by air and railway decreased by 5.5 percent, while the tariffs for cargo transportation by sea by 5.6 percent during this period, the committee said.
The tariffs for gas transportation through pipelines decreased by 5.5 percent, while tariffs for oil transportation by 5.9 percent in April.
The tariffs for cargo transportation by road reduced by 1.8 percent in April.
