Official exchange rate of the Azerbaijani manat against the US dollar was set at 1.5017 manats for May 18, said Azerbaijan's Central Bank (CBA) May 17.
Thus, manat's rate against the US dollar increased by 0.1 percent compared to the rate on May 17.
The State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) sold $34 million to eight banks through an auction held by the CBA.
Meanwhile, CBA itself acquired $15 million at the auction.
SOFAZ was offering $50 million for sale through the auction.
