BP's regional president for Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey Gordon Birrell sent a congratulatory letter to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of the country's national holiday - Republic Day.
"It is my great pleasure to extend to you and the people of Azerbaijan my warmest congratulations on the occasion of the national holiday - the Republic Day," said Birrell in his letter.
He also noted that BP attaches great importance to the consistent expansion of BP-Azerbaijani cooperation and calls for its further fruitful development.
"I express my firm belief in the strengthening of friendly relations between BP and the government of Azerbaijan," said Birrell.
"I would like to take this opportunity to wish happiness and prosperity to the people of Azerbaijan," he added.
