The Iranian government would need $68 billion if it is to accomplish the unfinished projects that have remained from previous administrations, according to Ali Dini Torkamani, an economic expert.

Torkamani said that over 2,900 unfinished projects currently remain from the previous administrations, IRNA news agency reported June 17.

The expert said the unfinished problems have laid many negative impacts on Iran’s economy. He noted that the money was spent on the projects, while the outcome wasn't there.

According to Torkamani, the only way to solve the issue is to increase the investment attractiveness, since only then it will be possible to have some output from the projects.
