Turkmenistan’s President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received Taimuraz Bolloev, chairman of the board of directors at Russia’s BTK Group, the Turkmen government said in a message Nov. 16.
The Russian entrepreneur offered participation of his company in the textile industry development projects, as well as creation of joint enterprises with Turkmenistan.
The Russian side aims at cooperation on all production levels, including the purchase of raw materials and creation of joint enterprises for production of goods, according to Bolloev.
During the meeting, it was also noted that Turkmenistan’s investment policy is primarily aimed at the economic diversification and industrialization, creation of competitive industries, as well as production of a wide range of high-quality and export-oriented goods.
The Russian company plans to open its office in Turkmenistan, which cultivates over one million tons of cotton annually.
