Gorkhmaz Aghayev has become a member of the Supervisory Council at the OJSC VTB Bank Azerbaijan, said a message posted on the bank’s website Nov. 28.
Earlier, Aghayev worked at AtaBank OJSC, Bank of Baku OJSC, Caspian Development Bank OJSC and Azerbaijan Global Investments, where he served as a legal councilor.
Currently, the Supervisory Council at the VTB Bank Azerbaijan includes six people – Chairman Vasily Titov, Deputy Chairman Rashad Rasullu and members of the council – Dmitriy Popov, Sergey Tsarev, Museyeib Aliyev and Gorkhmaz Aghayev.
Russia’s VTB Bank is represented in Azerbaijan through its subsidiary VTB Bank Azerbaijan.
Shareholders of VTB Bank Azerbaijan are the VTB Bank PJSC and Ata Holding OJSC.
VTB Bank Azerbaijan renders services to corporate business customers, small businesses and private clients.
