The EU has successfully implemented more than 45 twinning projects in Azerbaijan, Head of Operations Section at the EU Delegation in Azerbaijan Jeroen Willems said.
Willems made the remarks at an event in Baku Nov. 30 dedicated to the twinning project for improvement of the human resources management, implemented by the EU and the Azerbaijani Ministry of Taxes.
This is a very good indicator, and it, in particular, exceeds the number of projects in Georgia and Moldova, he said.
More than 30 public institutions used twinning-tools during the entire period of their application in Azerbaijan, added Willems.
The EU and Azerbaijan mark 25th anniversary of their partnership in 2016, he further said, stressing that the joint implementation of the twinning projects will also mark a 10-year-anniversary in 2017.
