First deputy chairman of Management Board at AXA MBASK insurance company, Lana Gozalova has been elected as chairman of the Council of Trustees at Azerbaijan’s Compulsory Insurance Bureau (ISB), said the ISB in a message Dec. 9.
Talat Safarov, chairman of Management Board at Ateshgah insurance company, has been appointed deputy chairman of the Council of Trustees.
The Council of Trustees has been reelected in late November due to the completion of its members’ office terms.
The council’s new composition, which has been elected for a period of five years, also included Ulviyya Jabbarova, chairman of Management Board at PASHA Insurance OJSC, Nurlan Babayev, director of Legal and Execution Department at Azerbaijan’s Financial Market Supervisory Authority, and Orkhan Ismayilov, senior analyst of the Strategic Analysis and Risks Management Unit of the Strategic Services Department at the Financial Market Supervisory Authority.
Azerbaijan’s Compulsory Insurance Bureau started to operate in 2011. Sixteen insurance companies are members of the ISB.
