Foreign investment to Azerbaijan’s fixed capital increased by 23.3 percent to hit 7.68 billion Azerbaijani manats in January-November 2016 compared to the same period of 2015, said a report issued by the State Statistics Committee on the 11 months of 2016.
Some 84.8 percent (6.51 billion manats) of foreign investment to Azerbaijan’s economy accounted for the investors from the UK, Turkey, Malaysia, Switzerland, Russia, Iran, the US and Japan.
In January-November 2016, the largest part of foreign investments – 935.1 million manats – was invested to Azerbaijan’s fixed capital in April, while the smallest part – 544.1 million manats – was invested in May.
