Foreign investments in Azerbaijan’s fixed capital up by 6%

Total volume of foreign investments in Azerbaijan’s fixed capital increased by six percent and amounted to 2.1 billion manats in January-March 2017, as compared to the same period of 2016 (1.98 billion manats), according to a report of the State Statistics Committee.

During the period, 83.3 percent (1.75 billion manats) of investments put by foreign countries and international organizations in Azerbaijan’s economy accounted for investors from the United Kingdom, Turkey, Malaysia, Switzerland, Russia, Iran and the United States.

The largest volume of foreign investments in Azerbaijan’s fixed capital accounted for February – 751.6 million manats, and the lowest volume – for January (654.1 million manats).
