Eximbank Kazakhstan doubles net profit

Eximbank Kazakhstan had 18.67 million tenges (315 tenges = $1) of net profit in 1Q2017 as compared to 9.36 million tenges in the same period of 2016, according to the bank’s financial statements posted on the website of the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE).

The bank’s operating revenues in this period hit 609.46 million tenges compared to 528.26 million tenges in 1Q2016.

The bank’s assets increased from 79.46 billion tenges in the beginning of 2017 to 81.02 billion tenges at the end of March.

The capital of the bank increased from 13.55 billion tenges to 14.02 billion tenges in January-March 2017. Its liabilities increased from 65.91 billion tenges to 67 billion tenges in the reporting period.

Eximbank Kazakhstan has been serving its clients – legal entities for more than 20 years. Since April 2014, Eximbank Kazakhstan has been opening deposits and serving accounts of individuals as well.
