Profit of Kazakh Kaspi bank increase

Kazakhstan’s Kaspi bank had 7.903 billion tenges (315 tenges = $1) of net profit in 1Q2017 as compared to 501.179 million tenges in the same period of 2016, according to the bank’s financial statements posted on the website of the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE).

The bank’s operating revenues in this period hit 38.446 billion tenges compared to 31.581 billion tenges in 1Q2016.
The bank’s assets increased from 1.219 trillion tenges in the beginning of 2017 to 1.23 trillion tenges at the end of March.

The capital of the bank increased from 136.527 billion tenges to 145.316 billion tenges in January-March 2017. Its liabilities increased from 1.083 trillion tenges to 1.085 trillion tenges in the reporting period.

Kaspi Bank was founded in 1991. It is one of the largest banks in Kazakhstan.
