Azerbaijan’s agriculture to grow fastest in South Caucasus

The World Bank (WB) expects a 3.4 percent growth of Azerbaijan’s agriculture in 2017, the bank’s updated Trade in Transition report on Europe and Central Asia said.

Azerbaijan’s agricultural sector will grow 4.2 percent in 2018 and 4.5 percent in 2019, according to the report.

In the next two years, Azerbaijan’s agriculture growth will be the highest in the South Caucasus region and one of the highest in the region of Europe and the CIS, the report said.
