Azerbaijan’s Sumgait Technologies Park (STP) plans to export high-voltage cables to the markets of Europe and Middle East, the STP told Trend May 24.
The export of this product requires a certificate, and the STP is now making efforts to get one.
The STP produces high-voltage 220, 330 and 500 kV cables.
“Azerbaijan is one of the few countries producing the 500 kV cables. A necessary certificate for the sale of high-voltage cables in the domestic market has already been obtained and the cables are already sold locally,” said the STP.
The Sumgait Technologies Park is the biggest enterprise implementing new infrastructural projects in the power industry of Azerbaijan.
