The Aydyn Gijeler company, which has been recently established in Turkmenistan, has produced about two million light-emitting diode (LED) lamps for housing premises and industrial enterprises in the country, the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper said in an article.

“About 100 workplaces have been created at the company, and the lamps are manufactured in two shifts,” the article said.

The enterprise daily produces 17,000-24,000 LED lamps with power of 3-24 watts, which equals to 40-240 watts of power in incandescent lamps.

All parts of the LED lamps, except for their boards, are made of polypropylene produced by the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries.

“Products of the Aydin Gijeler company can oust incandescent lamps from the Turkmen market, because LED lamp is one of the most efficient and environmentally friendly light sources,” said the article.
