Insurance premiums of Azerbaijani company up

Azerbaijan’s PASHA Life Insurance OJSC collected about 101.5 million manats in premiums in January-August 2017, which exceeds the result of the previous year’s same period by 81 percent, the company said in a message Sept. 11.
The volume of the company’s insurance premiums totaled 55.98 million manats in January-August 2016.
Payment of insurance claims by PASHA Life Insurance OJSC rose 2.3 times or by 19.12 million manats and amounted to 33.61 million manats during the period.
As of September1, 2017, the authorized capital of PASHA Life Insurance OJSC totaled 40.25 million manats.
PASHA Life Insurance OJSC has been operating since 2011 and is the biggest life insurance company of Azerbaijan.
