Trend:

Uzbekistan’s Ahangarancement JSC commissioned a new plant for the production of firebricks with the capacity of 3,500 tons per year.

The new plant was built under a large-scale program of the cement company, EUROCEMENT group, to modernize Ahangarancement’s enterprise.

Within the project worth 6 billion soums, the company bought and installed new equipment, manufactured by China’s Henan Dufu Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd, UzDaily.uz reported.

The company noted that the new equipment will improve the quality and competitiveness of the manufactured products.

Firebricks have a high heat resistance. They can withstand continuous heating over 1.000 °C without losing solidity. They are used in the cement and chemical industries, as well as in metallurgy.

Currently, Uzbekistan’s market need for refractory products is 7,000 tons per year. Using the new equipment, Ahangarancement JSC will be able to satisfy 50 percent of the market demand.

It is planned to increase the capacity up to 10,000 tons of firebricks per year, which will allow fully covering the country’s demand for refractory products, as well as exporting them.
