Azerbaijan’s PASHA Bank OJSC is preparing new products for its individual clients, said Khayala Naghiyeva, a member of the bank’s Executive Board.

PASHA Bank is not a retail bank and the bank doesn’t issue loans to all individuals, she said.

“Individuals in our loan portfolio are the employees of PASHA Bank, PASHA Holding as well as employees of our corporate clients who receive salaries via PASHA Bank cards. We provide them with short-term loans and other products, and we plan to expand the list of these products in the future,” noted Naghiyeva.

“We are preparing new interesting products for holders of our salary cards. These products are currently being developed and I cannot disclose details since this issue is of a strategic nature. We are now developing our strategic plan – it should be ready by December 15, and after that we will be able to give details,” said Naghiyeva.

PASHA Bank’s loans issued to individuals amounted to 165.79 million manats in 1H17, which accounts for 13 percent of the bank’s total loan portfolio. The volume of loans issued to individuals rose by 34.2 percent during the year.

PASHA Bank OJSC has been operating in Azerbaijan since 2007.
