The Association of Kazakhstan Auto Business (AKAB) has revealed the top-selling car brands in the country.
The largest preference among the vehicles produced in Kazakhstan belongs to “Lada," AKAB said in a message.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan, 4 601 cars of this brand were registered during the 9 months of 2017.
AKAB also said that “Ravon” brand also expanded its popularity among the local consumers, during just a year of presence in the local market. The country registered more than 2,945 vehicles of this brand of Uzbek-Kazakh production since the beginning of the year.
The top 5 list of the most popular cars of local production also includes such brands as Skoda, Hyundai and SsangYong.
According to the Statistics Committee of Kazakhstan, the country produced 12,993 vehicles, including cars, trucks and buses during the nine months of 2017.
AKAB is a non-profit organization, which aims to promote the development of the domestic auto industry and cooperates with more than 120 official dealer centers from 29 biggest cities of Kazakhstan.
