The growth of industrial production in Uzbekistan stood at 5.6 percent in January-September 2017.
According to the country’s State Statistics Committee, the volume of industrial production amounted to more than 99 trillion soums in the period.
In the structure of industrial production, the biggest share (79 percent) belongs to manufacturing enterprises. At the same time, the mining industry and quarrying made relevant contribution to the growth of industrial production, and their share in the total volume of production was 11.7 percent (a growth of 8.4 percent).
The growth in labor productivity was 3.9 percent in January-September 2017 as compared to the same period of 2016.
