Kazakh Aktobe Rail-Belt Plant LLP (ARBP) and Russian Railways signed an agreement on supply of 7,500 tons of Р65 rails to Russia.
The agreement was signed by the Head of Kazakhstan Railways Kanat Alpysbaev and the President of Russian Railways Oleg Belozerov at the 19th meeting of the Kazakhstan-Russia intergovernmental commission for trade and economic cooperation, Kazakh media outlets reported.
Long-length rails produced by the Kazakh manufacturers will be used for modernization of Russian railways.
By the end of this year ARBP will supply 7,500 tons of P65 120-meter rails to Russia.
The ARBP is expected to export more than 550,000 tons of rails by 2020.
