The Baku-Shamakhi-Muganly road reconstruction project provides for its expansion from two-lane to four-lane.
As of the late March 2016, the WB allocated "Azeravtoyol" additional funding in the amount of $ 140 million for the project. The loan is provided through the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD, part of the WB group).
The project is expected to be completed in December 2019.
