A tender will be announced in the western Turkish province Izmir for the construction of a new metro line, F. Altay – Narlidere, consisting of seven stations, the Izmir Mayor’s office said in a message Nov. 22.
The tender will be held on December 20, 2017, according to the message.
The length of the new metro line will be 7.2 kilometers.
About 30 companies, including six foreign companies, have sent applications for participation in the tender.
Currently, there are 17 stations in Izmir metro and the total length of the metro line is 17.6 kilometers.
