Construction materials worth 460.6 million manats were produced in Azerbaijan in January-October 2017, which is by 28.8 percent more than in January-October 2016, according to the country’s State Statistics Committee.
Cement production increased by 24.2 percent to 2.39 million tons, production of building gypsum decreased by 34.5 percent to 82,600 tons, production of ready-mixed concrete grew 53.7 percent up to 561,900 tons, and production of prefabricated concrete structures grew 83.1 percent to 133,100 cubic meters.
The production of processed marble, travertine, alabaster and its items grew three times to 19,180 tons.
