Azerbaijan’s share in the capital stock of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) decreased from 0.2732 to 0.2726 percent, said a message on the AIIB website.
This is due to the inclusion of Ireland in the bank’s shareholding structure. Its share in the AIIB capital amounted to 0.1409 percent. As a result, the shares of all shareholders slightly decreased.
At the same time, the amount of Azerbaijan’s share in the AIIB capital remained at $254.1 million.
AIIB was founded in June 2015. Azerbaijan is one of the bank’s founding members.
