Kazakhstan, Belarus sign six agreements

The representatives of business communities of Belarus and Kazakhstan signed 6 commercial agreements worth $108 million on delivery of combines and trucks, dump trucks and communal vehicles to Kazakhstan, as well as on creation of a Business Council.

The mentioned agreements were signed during Belarusian-Kazakh business forum, held in Minsk amid official visit of the Kazakh president Nursultan Nazarbayev to Belarus, the ministry of investment and development of Kazakhstan said in a statement.

More than 350 entrepreneurs from the both countries participated in the business forum.

The participants of the forum discussed cooperation in such fields as light industry, agriculture and food industry, mining, metallurgy, production of communication equipment and manufacturing industry.

The trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Belarus amounted to $441.4 million in 9 months of 2019, increasing by 60 percent.

Exports from Kazakhstan to Belarus increased by 2.4 times and amounted to $68 million during the mentioned period and imports increased by 51.1 percent to $373.4 million.
