The showroom of Uztrade, which assists small and private business and farmers in exporting goods, was opened on the basis of the Uztrade Tajikistan trading house.
The showroom exhibits a wide range of Uzbek-made goods, including finished textile products, sanitary ware, gypsum products, paints and emulsions, PVC pipes, floor skirting boards and other products, the Foreign Trade Ministry of Uzbekistan reported.
To date, Uztrade has signed export contracts for the supply of finished goods to the trading house for a total of $2.6 million.
Uzbekistan continues the policy of expanding and strengthening trade and economic relations with foreign countries. Over the past period, the turnover of Uzbekistan with foreign countries has increased by 13 percent, the highest indicator for the last 5 years.
The Ministry reported that by November more than 200 documents were signed in the trade, economic and investment spheres, including more than $ 9.1 billion in trade.
Within the framework of these contracts, the enterprises of the republic have already shipped products worth more than $ 1.2 billion, including a wide range of products with high added value.
