Prices for goods and services increase in Kazakhstan

Level of inflation in Kazakhstan amounted to 0.9 percent, compared to November 2017, and to 6,3 percent compared to the same period of 2016, the Ministry of Economy said in a message.

Prices on food products increased by 0.8 percent in November 2017, for paid services for the population increased by 1 percent. The same indicators, compared to the same period of 2016 increased by 5.3 percent and 5.6 percent, accordingly.

Since the beginning of the year, the increase in prices has been noted for potatoes - by 28.5 percent, onion (by 27.8 percent), carrots (by 20.8 percent), apples (by 14.8 percent), beef (by 14.2 percent), lamb (by 13.5 percent), canned milk (by 10.8 percent), butter (by 10.2 percent), confectionery (by 9.5 percent), rennet cheese (by 9.4 percent) and cheese (by 8.9 percent).

The decrease in prices was fixed for tomatoes (by 37.4 percent), cucumbers (by 37.2 percent), buckwheat groats (by 26.7 percent), garlic (by 26.1 percent), eggs (by 18.6 percent), sugar (by 17, 7 percent), sunflower oil (9.5 percent), cabbage (8.4 percent) and sweet pepper (by 3.4 percent).

Price on diesel fuel went up by 31.1 percent, on gasoline - by 19.1 percent, on coal - by 16 percent and on liquefied gas in cylinders - by 7.8 percent.
