GM Uzbekistan's share in Russian market increased

The share of GM Uzbekistan in the Russian auto market hit 0.9 percent for the 11 months of 2017, compared to 0.8 percent for the same period in 2016.

This is revealed in the report of the Automobile Manufacturers Committee of the Association of European Businesses.

In January-November 2017 in Russia, about 12,977 cars of Ravon of GM Uzbekistan were sold in Russia.

GM Uzbekistan sold 1,831 Ravon cars in Russia in November 2017.

Following the results of January-November 2017, JSC GM Uzbekistan took 19th place in terms of sales of cars in Russia.

GM Uzbekistan is a joint venture owned by Uzbek UzAvtosanoat (75 percent) and American General Motors (25 percent).

Currently, the company produce 10 models of cars under the brands Chevrolet and Ravon.
