Kazakhstan's foreign trade turnover jumps up

The volume of foreign trade turnover of Kazakhstan in January-October 2017 in money terms amounted to $62, 107 billion, which is 25.6 percent more compared to the same period in 2016, the Statistics Committee of the National Economy Ministry of Kazakhstan reported.

The volume of exports for the reporting period amounted to $38.489 billion (an increase of 32.5 percent), the volume of imports - $23.618 billion (an increase of 15.8 percent).

In Kazakhstan, the volume of retail trade also increased. In January-November 2017, the retail trade totaled 7,77 trillion tenges, which is 6.1 percent more compared to the same period in 2016.

The volume of wholesale trade in the reporting period amounted to 17,077 trillion, which is 1.2 percent more compared to the same period in 2016.

The official exchange rate for Dec. 13 is 334.85 KZT / USD.
