President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed an order on the allocation of land sector, said the Turkmen government.

This decision was announced at the last meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan.

It is expected that land will be allocated for construction, including for the cultivation of agricultural products.

It was announced that the Parliament of Turkmenistan had adopted the draft law "On the State Land Cadastre", which establishes the legal, economic and organizational basis for activities in this area in late November.

The state land cadastre is a single state geoinformation system of documented information on the natural, economic and legal regime, quantitative and qualitative characteristics, economic evaluation of lands, and their location.

The data systematized in the land cadastre is of great economic importance and is widely used in solving issues related to the rational use of land resources. With their help, measures are being developed to improve soil fertility, land reclamation, and their effective use, taking into account local climatic and economic conditions.
