Azerbaijani entrepreneurs involved in poultry farming can be assured of a stable epizootic situation in the country, Fuzuli Guliyev, director of the Republican Veterinary Laboratory of the State Veterinary Control Service under the Azerbaijani Ministry of Agriculture, told Trend.
He said that at present, the epizootic situation is stable in Azerbaijan and there is no danger of infectious diseases in the country.
"The main task of the State Veterinary Control Service is to carry out preventive measures against infectious diseases in the country according to the epizootic plan,” Guliyev said.
"We conducted bird flu monitoring in 2017,” he said. “According to the monitoring results, there is no bird flu in Azerbaijan."
